Me, Myself, and Brands

From the moment I wake up I'm already smacked in the face with some kind of advertisement. The rambling radio noise bundles me up with some kind of "sell you gold for cash" or "pick n pull", then I check facebook or instagram which is basically plastered with ads. I guess this could get annoying for some people, but for me, it's really not annoying at all. Unless I'm watching hulu and there's an ad in the middle of Grey's Anatomy, advertisements don't really bother me at all. I think I've learned to live with seeing bright lights and flashy signs while driving down stevens creek, for some reason I think ads make the world a lot brighter.

Over the years I've become pretty attached to brands because of all it's amazing advertising... I think I'm much more materialistic than most people, but I do it with no harm. I'm obsessed with luxury brands like Chanel and Louis Vuitton, I really can't help it. There's this amazing feeling I feel when I have the bag because the bag is not a common good, not everyone has it, and it really does make me feel high end. Maybe that might sound stuck up but whenever I think Chanel, I think classy, rich, and elegant, which is why I buy the brand. Then sometimes I have to deal with people who say "oh you over pay for the brand...." my response to that is that I'm actually fine with because these over priced brands actually are of higher quality and has more than what meets the eye.

Other big brands that I can't really live without is Minute Maid and Coca Cola. I'm just so addicted to everything they make. It's far better than store brand stuff. Even though I occasionally buy store brand goods over some big branded items, nothing beats the taste of a Minute Maid or Coca Cola product. I will probably prefer any Coca Cola owned soda over any other brand just because of it's quality. I actually think that by paying more I'm actually getting better stuff. When I was younger, I remember getting lots of Coca Cola brand sodas and everyone else would too, over the years, I associate Coca Cola as the normal type of drink. So when anyone ask me to get them a drink and they don't specify I grab them a Coca Cola because I think EVERYONE loves it. I think this has a lot to do with all the ads I see, I'm pretty much brainwashed into thinking the only soda that exist is Coca Cola.

I think the brands that are relevant to who I am (self identity) are
- Chanel
- Louis Vuitton
- M.A.C
- Samsung
- PC
- Coca Cola
- Minute Maid
- Jeep
- Disney

there are probably more but, I'm pretty much obsessed with these at the moment. I think the main reason I just love these brands is because of their story behind it's creation and how everyone else has a positive perspective about these brands.

Here's a picture of what I hope these brands makes me feel like  (a super weird looking alienly queen)

Well that's all for now, thanks for reading and hopefully you don't think I'm this crazy label eating monster.
